Garden Beyond Gaza

Garden Beyond Gaza
A Community garden for growth, healing and hope

The garden will be established as a green, vibrant area accessible to all.
The garden will contain fruit trees and medicinal plants and will be a place of refuge, growth and gathering. Include shaded seating areas, hammocks, a fire pit, water and electricity infrastructure, restrooms, and exploration and play zones for children.

Community involvement is at the heart of this project: from the planning and planting stages to ongoing maintenance - emphasizing the active participation of children and teens as part of building local resilience and engagement.

Throughout the year, the garden will host:

  • Outdoor activities for preschool groups ("Forest Day")

  • Weekly educational programs for school-aged children

  • Monthly family-friendly community events

  • A weekend meeting place for soldiers and visitors

  • Total Budget: $100,000

  • Raised so far: $45,000

  • Still needed: $55,000

    Planned launch: November 2025
